Bio

I completed my BSc in Physics (2014), MSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (2015), and PhD in Physics of Nanostructures and Advanced Materials (2020) at EHU. My doctoral thesis was supervised by Asier Eiguren and Idoia G. Gurtubay. 

From 2021 to 2023, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Quantum Materials Engineering led by Feliciano Giustino, at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin. After a subsequent postdoctoral appointment at the Donostia International Physics Center, where I worked with María Blanco-Rey, I joined the Department of Physics at EHU as an assistant professor in September 2023. In 2025, I received the Psi-k Volker Heine Early Career Investigator Award in recognition of my contributions to first-principles studies of electron-phonon interactions in solids.

I am currently establishing an independent research program and building a research team within the broader Computational Theory in Condensed Matter Physics group at EHU.
